Table Covers Frequently Asked
Questions |

What are my fabric choices?
We offer three basic materials for table covers. Knit polyester, nylon
and vinyl.
Knit polyester is by far the most used fabric among it's benefits are:
VERY WRINKLE RESISTANCE
Perfect for traveling, (for even better protection from wrinkles, especially
with decorated table covers see this easy
rolling method).
LIGHT WEIGHT BUT NOT FLIMSY
Knit polyester has enough heft to always drape nicely, the knit construction
gives it thickness and at 12 ounces per lineal yard, this is the best
fabric for working table covers.
NATURALLY FLAME RETARDENT
Complies with convention center codes, passes NPFA 701 Small Scale and
California Section 13115.
Down load certificate.
Nylon is used when a waterproof material is required, or if the product
being demonstrated could be messy. Nylon table covers also present a more
athletic look which may lend itself to certain product displays.
Among nylon's primary benefits are:
VERY DURABLE
WEATHER RESISTANT
Don't let weather worry you. Nylon table covers are water proof.
For extra heavy duty table covers, we use reinforced vinyl. This is a
10 ounce per yard material made of two thin layers of vinyl sandwiching
a polyester scrim which gives it dimensional stability. This is not to
be confused with the cheap, lightweight vinyl table coves sold for picnic
tables.
The main benefits of reinforced table covers are:
THE MOST RUGGED
The most durable cover you can buy.
NEVER WORRY ABOUT WEATHER
Vinyl is naturally water resistant and provides complete outdoors protection.

What are the decorating options?
The means of placing your design on a table cover depend on the design
and the material used to make the cover. The more simple designs using
spot colors or simple halftones are screen printed on al three types of
table cover materials. This method produces a clean, durable imprint.
For more complex designs using many colors or four color process designs
we can print digital transfers direct to the fabric on white fabric or
appliqué digital prints onto dark fabric, this only is used on
knit polyester. One other technique for decorating table covers is to
appliqué the design. This is used for simple designs and involves
sewing layers of fabric to create the design in all fabric. Embroidery
is generally used with appliqué for small type or details in the
design.

How should I submit my art?
The best method for submitting art is to upload it with an order quote
/ order using the form provided.
The best file type to submit depends on your organizations capabilities,
and the nature of the design. For simpler graphics the best format is
vector art. This is created in a program such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw
or FreeHand. All design elements should be displayed in outline form,
including type, with colors specified as PMS numbers. However if you
do not have access to this type of file you should send what ever you
have,
there is no charge for our staff to review it and comment. If necessary
we can make a vector art file for you at a nominal cost.
For more complex designs, art for full color table covers or art for
the retractable banner stands, bitmap files such as those created in
Adobe
Photoshop are usually used. Some of these files can be quite large, the
best way to send them is to use our FTP site. The login info for our
FTP site is as follows:
Site: www.table-cover.com

It is also possible to send you file
in on a CD.

How long does it take to get table covers made?
Once we have suitable art and a finalized order, production time on small
quantities ( 1 to 25 table covers) production time is normally one week.
We usually use UPS which has several levels of service. We ship from Green
Bay Wisconsin, our zip code is 54235 you can check UPS.com for delivery
times.

How do I place an order?
Un-printed table covers can be ordered on line on the price list page,
select the yellow "button" on the left side of the page that
corresponds to the table cover style you want, deluxe four sided, three
sided or top and front.
For decorated table covers start with the order/quote form. Fill in as
much information as you can, up load your art file, and include any special
instructions in the dialog boxes. We will produce and email you a to scale
layout for your comment and an order confirmation form which you will
need to sign and fax back before we have a finalized order.

What are PMS colors?
The Pantone Matching System is a system printers and graphic artists
use for communicating colors precisely. The individual colors are indexed
in chromatic sequence and assigned numbers. By specifying PMS numbers
we know exactly what colors you want used. However color matching is not
an exact science for screen printing or digital prints, we can not guarantee
exact matches, but knowing PMS numbers will insure a very close match.

What are the available fabric and imprint colors?
We stock knit polyester table cover fabric in 14 colors, there are more
colors available for special order of a quantity of at least ten covers.
Imperial nylon is available in 11 colors.
Reinforced vinyl is available in 4 basic colors.
We have 20 basic imprint colors for screen printing, these include metallic
gold and silver. We can match most PMS colors very closely, you are not
necessarily limited to the stock imprint colors. When screen printing
light colors on dark fabric we do get very good coverage. For instance,
we get a good white on black fabric.
